Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is perfectly located only minutes from California State University Monterey Bay, making it convenient for fans attending the golf tournament. The rooms are well-equipped and located on the same floor as the lobby; however, cleanliness could be improved as it seemed sheets hadn't been changed.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was convenient, near the main highway, making it easy to travel to Monterey, Carmel, and Watsonville. The staff was not particularly friendly, but there seemed to be some mysterious activities in the back area. Unfortunately, the rooms were not ready at check-in time, had an unpleasant odor, and the vending machine on our floor was not working. The dining options were less than average, with limited variety and a subpar setup.
The hotel had everything we needed but had some drawbacks like construction noise and an unpleasant odor. The location was excellent for a stop between LA and San Francisco with beautiful surroundings. The service was friendly but overpriced for the facility. The dining experience was great with a variety of options.
The hotel has some positives like well-equipped rooms and cleanliness, but it also needs some maintenance, especially with the carpets and wall coverings. The view from the room was disappointing. The service was a mix of being helpful and professional but also a bit tired and grumpy. The location is great, being close to the Ocean, restaurants, and shopping options, but there were some cleanliness issues outside the hotel. Dining was satisfactory, and the facilities were standard.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of great and not so great experiences. The rooms were really spacious, newly remodeled, and impeccably clean, which was fantastic. However, there was an unpleasant odor on our floor and the vending machine wasn't working at all. The service was lacking, as the owner seemed to be in the back with someone, perhaps an employee, which was a bit off-putting. On the bright side, the location was excellent for a stop during a drive from LA to San Francisco, with easy access to the highway, beautiful scenery, a lake next to the parking lot, and nearby Walmart and restaurants. The dining experience was party good, especially with mouth-watering choices like cinnamon rolls, eggs, yogurt, and a pancake maker, although it was held in a conference room. Overall, there were ups and downs during my stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was awesome with proximity to the ocean, restaurants, and shopping. The rooms needed a little tlc, smelled a bit weird even with the window open, and check-in was delayed which was frustrating. The service was friendly and attentive overall, but there were some unorganized and rude moments. The dining options were underwhelming, lacking variety, and the breakfast was not up to expectations. Despite these drawbacks, the facilities were decent, and the location was convenient for exploring the surrounding areas.
